Human Development Index (HDI)

Human development is defined as the process of enlarging people choice and improving well-being. The concept of human development was developed to measure what most people believe to be the most basic human well-being: health, education, and income.
Bojonegoro District Human Development Index (HDI) in 2020 reached 69.04 which increased by 0.29 percent from the previous year which had an HDI value of 68.75. This increase is in line with the increase of all the constituent components of HDI, namely the Education Index (Old School Expectations and Old School Average), Health Index (Life Expectancy Figures), and Decent Living Standards (Adjusted Per Capita Expenditure).
In 2020, human development in Bojonegoro is "moderate", still the same as its status in 2019. Bojonegoro HDI ranking in 2019 was ranked 26th out of 38 districts in East Java.
